Investing in People is Investing in Your Business
Investing in your team is investing in your business.
Working alongside like-minded businesses, we know the importance of having people with the right skill and attitude within your business and we treat that no differently within our own team. The development of employees is vital to the success of their day-to-day duties and therefore the business.
Taking that into consideration, we have recently seen Olly completed his level 2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship Qualification; having started the apprenticeship at the end of Lockdown, we asked Olly a few questions to see what he learned.
What has been the biggest learning curve whilst completing this?
“The most significant learning curve I have had throughout my apprenticeship was the level of detail I have had to discuss and write reports. It was an area I had to continually work on throughout the course; however, it became easier the more I wrote, read and spoke about as the discussed regions were covered in my day-to-day role.”
Did you feel supported through your apprentice? From them, work, family?
“Yes, throughout my course, I know I had the full support of everyone, whether at home, during the apprenticeship or at work. I could tell everyone wanted me to succeed and gave me help when they could.”
Was the apprentice what you thought it would be and how much do you feel you can now apply in to your day to day?
“It was different from how I imagined it would be, but it has boosted my confidence greatly as the topics we covered were all areas of work I felt I was getting stronger on. With the apprenticeship completed I have felt a great deal of reassurance in what I do, making decisions with more certainty and reaching out with more relevant questions when I need help.”
With his apprenticeship now to an end, we look forward to seeing how Olly grows and develops within his own work, supporting our great clients and candidates to find exactaly what they are looking for.
